TearFest

I don't know what to say guys. I have finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It is over. All those years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, and seconds of waiting for the end is over.

Now that I look back on it all, I realize that this was probably the biggest and most important thing in my meakly existance. We all have grown up reading the books, aging along side of Harry, and have shared his feelings, dreams, wants, and needs. I will now give you all my thoughts, emotions, and experiences of the release of HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS!!!!!!!!!!

We got to the Rockford Barnes & Noble at 6:00 and there was a huge line there even though it was going to start in an hour. We all wore our handmade shirts, and I wore a witch hat, a cloak, a tie, and I drew a Dark Mark on my arm as a final touch. Aparently, sense I reserved a copy, I get to be in the front of the line-ish before anyone else in our group. This made me feel sad and guilty, trust me. Wouldn't you feel bed about getting the final Harry Potter book an hour before everyone else, knowing that they have been through the same things as you?

Well, then we had about 5 hours to hang out and party with all the other Potteretts in the store. A lot of people dressed up like me. There was a guy in a little gray car that looked like Snape, another Snape that acted just like him, wondering around and looking around thinking that someone was going to jump out and attack, a Draco Malfoy, a Trelawney that was doing palm readings(she said that she doesn't know when I'm going to die. OOH!), and A LOT of Harry Potters. Gabreille and I were Narcissa and Bellatrix. We made wands(they were lame), took pictures with Harry(a cut-out of the title picture), and asked random people if they liked Michael Gambon as Dumbledore(Jelly interviewed each with her camera). Speaking of interviews, I was interview twice. I guess I stick out in a crowd.

We waited a long time. I bought Quidditch Through the Ages, Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them, and a Harry Potter coloring book before we got Deathly Hallows. We had a big countdown for midnight. We were all screaming at the top of our lungs the whole time while the idiots that got there late and were standing outside pounded on the glass windows. Needless to say, I went crazy. I got the book an hour before Jelly, Monica, Gabreille, Hillary, and John. Angelica actually taped me getting the book, as if I was hyper enough. Of course, they kicked me out quick before I could see everyone. So here I was, all keyed up, waiting outside for everone else. I got interviewed again and Monica and Kiki came out and hung out with me.

It took an hour before everyone else had the book and we finally sailed away to my house. Most of us(*cough* not Kiki *cough*) stayed up all night, reading the book out loud, commenting and criticing, until about noon the next day, when everone left.

Jelly, you left your brownies and camcorder at my place. Just FYI.
