More Recomendations

You all are probably sick of me telling you about bands I am obsessed with. Heck, I would be sick of me too, except I completely agree with myself! Today's lesson is on The Decemberists.

When I first heard them, I thought this band was from the 1800's or something, but they just started in 2002. The album that got me hooked, and what I'm listening to right now, was The Crane Wife. IT IS AWESOME! I know that idea of folk/rock music scares you all, but this band redefines that. I gave Jel a little taste on the Weakerthans CD I made for her, but that was just a sample of their greatness. For The Crane Wife, you can't just get one song. You have to get the whole CD because all of the songs flow together.

My favorite songs on the CD are:
Yankee Bayonet - It is the best duets I've ever heard. It is so good I'm getting the girl who sang in it's stuff too.
O Valencia! - It is one of those wierd story songs that makes you go huh? It is so dare catchy too!
Shankill Butchers - It is a creepy song, but the way they sing it is like your parents are telling you a bedtime story. The last chorus sends shivers down your spine.
Sons & Daughters - It's a round! You can't help but sing a long!
After the Bombs - A great closer. Leaves you happy and content.

The other songs grow on you quickly, and looking at the play count, I've listened through the CD about 12 times now. If you want the CD, tell me and I will burn it for you. You won't regret it!

The Infamous Sax-A-Boom

Do you guys remember when I told you about the Paul Bunyan Day at Camp Manito-wish? And how they tried to make you laugh at breakfast? Well, I found a video of Jack Black playing the toy saxophone that almost made me bust a gut. Ok, so I did laugh for a long time after watching this. I REALLY want this toy. BAD.

If only you guys watched the Olympics last night!!!!! Michael Phelps and the American 4x100 freestyle team had total DESTROYED the favored French team. They beat the World Record by 4 seconds too. The last leg of the race was the best, when the American guy(can't remember his name) past the French guy right at the end. A great way to end the race.

Michael Phelps - 2 down, 6 to go. GO FOR THE GOLD MICHAEL!!!!!!!!!

LA LA LA WHERE ARE YOU GUYS!!!!

I know you guys probably haven't went online in years, and that this post will once again be ignored, I still like to type out my life, which I will.

I think the problem with my fan fiction writer's block is that I only get inspiration when a new book comes out. Looking back at when I posted everything before, everything was writing when either DH or Eclipse came out, and the same thing is happening with BD. READ MY STUFF!!! NEW STORY AND NEW ATTACK OF THE SONG-FIC STUFF!!!!!!

I know Angelica at least is not watching the Olympics, but I can't help it. It's the Olympics for God's sake! The opening ceremony was awesome! Matt Lauwer(sp?) was hosting and it was like a 'countdown to the US' thing. Every other counrty he'd say something like "the US is still coming" or "there are only 20 countries left till the US". When they lit the torch, they got this guy to hold the flame and they suspended him in the air. They lifted him all the way to the top of the stadium, made him go all the way around, and then lit this cool looking cauldren thing for the flame. And then the fireworks came. Knowing China, I should have excepted a lot, but they had all of Bejing shooting off these crazy fireworks! It was awesome.

Then this morning I watched some Polish guy kick some Estonian guys butt at badminton. It was awesome.

Brotherly Love: Revisited

I was randomly going through all of my old reviews that I posted when I cam across all of my old reviews for Brotherly Love. A beautiful tale of the Jonas Brothers sleeping with each other. Laughing to myself, I went back to that great piece of fan fiction and went to see some of the other reviews left resently. Apparently, people had been busy. Here are some samples of the next generation of flamers/idiots that will follow us.

You can improve though get a beta,(hell even I need a beta), keep writing, do not ignore flames(they help you understand what your doing wrong), and don't get overly cocky. Trust me I was bad to once and even now I'm not so good but the more you write and read the better you get.

Twitchylicious - For God's sake, Lady Murray! I don't like this story, either, but you don't have to say that Kandy wants to have sex with her sister/brother! And I don't think Kandy cares how perverted you think this story is. Because I know I wouldn't. I would write whatever the hell I felt like writing. Why don't you just back off and leave Kandy alone? If you don't like this story, oh well! Sorry, but I'm sick of people insulting writers just because they write about something they think is perverted or retarded.

Jeez, I almost peed my pants this morning. Was the storm bad near your guys' houses? It was like hell was circling my house! I woke up around 6 and got up to shut a window, when CRACK!!!!! Lightning struck pretty much in my face right when I shut my window. I screamed a little bit, and hid under my covers.
...what?
Then, TWO more struck literally in my yard! I must have pissed off God a lot recently. I feel back a sleep after a while, but then I had a bad dream where lightning hit the tree in my front yard and then the tree fell on my room, with my in bed.

Plasma is scary.

God, I have I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry stuck in my head. I have no idea why, but it is getting SOOOO annoying!

I just watched Children of Men. It was AWESOME!!!!!! I LOVE Clive Owen. He is one of my favorite actors, which makes that movie even cooler! It is so realistic though...

Breaking Dawn is coming out tomorrow! Yes!!!!! I'm wearing my goth corset to the release. I feel like such a rebel.

The only Kanye West song I like, because Chris Martin from Coldplay is in it!
